Christmas Trees

Here, at Downingbury Farm we sell locally grown, non-drop Nordmann Fir trees, ranging from 4 feet to 8 feet tall, to suit every house and budget. They are grown on a managed farm in the south of England which is a member of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association. The farm has to follow a code of practice, so that trees are grown to the best environmental and sustainable practice. In essence,  every tree cut down is replaced by a new one and there is no threat to wildlife. When harvested, Christmas trees are sorted into a series of quality grades depending on their quality, shape and appearance.

We are proud to sell only first quality trees, so you can be sure that you are getting the best whether you are choosing one at the farm or purchasing online. Don't feel guilty about choosing a real tree over an artificial one. Real trees are recyclable, biodegradable and are carbon neutral. In fact, Greenpeace recommends buying a real tree as long as it is from a sustainable plantation and is recycled.
